Conducting Officer Program

Yann joined Deloitte in 2007, and currently serves as Partner in Audit & Assurance for the Asset Management sector. Yann specializes in the audits of investment funds and Management Companies from regulated and unregulated worlds, investing in a variety of assets from traditional shares and bonds to complex derivatives, structured products, infrastructure funds and efficient portfolio management techniques. He leads the technology initiative for the audit of funds and drives automation strategy in the audit of funds. In that context, he is in charge of the development of local D.NAV solution, which states as a leading technology solution for the audit of funds in Luxembourg. Yann is also a member of Institut des Administrateurs Luxembourgeois (“ILA”) and seats in the Board Organization and Effectiveness Committee. Internally, Yann has a quality control role in the firm, acting as Monitoring & Remediation (“M&R”) leader for the Luxembourg audit practice. He holds a Master in management from Edhec Business School with a specilisation in market finance and is a Réviseur d'entreprises agréé. He is fluent in French and English.

Jérôme started his career at Deloitte Luxembourg in 1998 as external auditor and joined the Entreprise Risk Services practice in 2000 covering the financial service industry. He left Deloitte in 2002 for a professional trip of 9 years in the banking industry as successively EMEA group internal auditor and Chief risk Officer before coming back at Deloitte Luxembourg in November 2011 in the Risk Advisory practice. Since this date, he has developed governance services covering internal audit, compliance, operational risk, internal controls for Investment Management / Alternative industry, EU / International institutions, Re/Insurance industry, Banking industry and CIPS industry. Over the last 15 years, Jérôme has contributed significantly to the development of Risk Advisory services and Risk Advisory team. Jérôme is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) Luxembourg, a member of the Luxembourg Association of Compliance Officer (ALCO) and a member of the Luxembourg Association of Risk Management (ALRIM). Jerome wrote also several press articles on specific governance topics and animates regularly technical training sessions for clients (e.g. conducting officer program, trainings for Board members) Jérôme is graduate of the Burgundy Business School, Master in Finance.

Arnaud is a Partner in our Strategy and Corporate Finance department, where he currently leads our Alternative industries initiatives. As Head of Fund Services, Arnaud has set-up and managed the fund administration and alternative depositary services lines at a global trust company specialising in alternative assets. He then was in charge of business and product development for Private Equity and Real Estate clients. Arnaud is a lawyer by training and started his career in investment management legal and regulatory advisory with Allen & Overy Luxembourg. Arnaud is an active member of, and has lead, different ALFI and LPEA working groups.

Sylvain joined Deloitte Luxembourg in January 2012 and currently serves as Partner leading our Advisory, Consulting & Operate offering for the Investment Management industry and our Risk & Regulatory reporting for investment funds practice. Sylvain has extensive experience with risk management advisory, regulatory consulting and operations for asset management and investment funds. Topics covered include fund distribution, product launch, risk & compliance, valuation, data dissemination, regulatory and client reporting. Reporting solutions include UCITS and AIFs regulatory reporting, institutional investor reporting (e.g. Solvency II, CRR), pension fund reporting, PRIIPs KID services, EPT, EMT, CTI, DCPT, PRIIPs analytics, SFDR reporting, EET. Sylvain is also a member of the ALFI (Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds d’Investissement), ALRIM (Luxembourgish Association for Risk Management), AIMA, EFAMA Working Group on Distribution & Investor Protection. Sylvain graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris in 2005 and is certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) by the Global Association of Risk professionals (GARP).

Julien joined back Deloitte Capital Markets Department’s valuation team in September 2013 and has developed an outstanding knowledge of the fund industry through several missions. He has lead a long term mission for a super ManCo in Luxemburg by putting in place their new Risk Management process for UCITs and AIFs. Since 2017, he is now in charge for the oversight of AIFMD reporting team. He is closely working with our regulatory strategy team when confronted to regulation directly linked to financial markets such as MiFID II, PRIIPS, MAR or MMFR. In addition, he has a deep knowledge of OTC products as he has been performing analysis and valuation of financial derivative instruments by providing support to the audit department for banks and investment funds as well as for external clients. Thanks to his studies and his work experience Julien has gained good knowledge in the banking and financial services sector, especially regarding derivatives area. He has also developed strong analytical and problemsolving skills to tackle assignments.
