1.      What is the Annual Graduate Recruitment program?

The Annual Graduate Recruitment (AGR) program is a recruitment run by Deloitte East Africa each year, for recent university graduates who aspire to start their career with us. The training program runs for 2 years (post recruitment) where successful candidates will be taken through an intensive training program while serving our reputable clients. The training entails both classroom and on the job training. To ensure that our people are well equipped, we also provide sponsorship for relevant approved professional qualifications within select departments.

3.      Am I required to live in the country in which I am applying, or can I work remotely?

While we have a hybrid working model which entails both office/client based and remote based working, it is expected that there will be a high level of physical interactions therefore requiring physical presence within the recruiting country offices. In addition, applicants must have authorization to work in the country they are applying to.

4.      When will I be notified of my application status?

We have several stages in the selection process and feedback will be shared accordingly at the various stages depending on the progress. Candidates who are not successful at any interview stage will be notified in due course.

5.      Is an accounting background required?

As a professional services Firm with a multidisciplinary approach to serving our clients, we welcome graduates from all academic majors.

7.      What is the full application process?

You are required to submit your application online through our careers site while ensuring that you attach your curriculum vitae and academic certificates. 

8.      Can I apply again if I was unsuccessful previously?

9.      Can I apply if I am not physically present in my country of residence?

While we encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds, please note that you will be required to be physically present in your country of residence for the interview process, as interviews are conducted in person.

We offer both internships and entry level positions and these are advertised on our careers site as and when they fall vacant. We also endeavor to engage any potential candidates from existing talent pool where the qualifications align.
