Deloitte professionals recognised in the 2021 Tax Controversy Leaders Guide

News Release

NEW YORK, NY, USA, 21 October 2020 – International Tax Review (ITR) has recognised 167 Deloitte professionals in the 2021 Tax Controversy Leaders Guide. For the fourth consecutive year, Deloitte tax professionals proved the quality of their client service across 46 jurisdictions. This recognition reaffirms Deloitte’s commitment to providing clients with the confidence they need to present their affairs responsibly, and should a tax controversy arise, defend it appropriately.

" I’m proud of the recognition Deloitte’s professionals received in the annual Tax Controversy Leaders Guide. It is a testament to the experience and knowledge of our tax controversy professionals. Given the uncertainty and disruption caused by COVID-19, businesses need to have confidence that their tax advisers are able to help them avoid disputes or manage the dispute if it does happen. This recognition confirms that the market sees Deloitte’s tax controversy professionals as well-prepared to help them navigate the evolving global tax regulatory environment. "

                         - says James Fabijancic, Deloitte Global Leader, Tax Controversy

Deloitte’s tax controversy teams comprise highly skilled alternative dispute resolution specialists, former tax authority officials and tax litigation specialists in many countries, who assist several multinational businesses at all phases of the tax controversy cycle.

Individuals recognised in this guide are nominated by their peers and recommended as trusted advisers. ITR also conducts independent research to validate these nominations.
