Inclusion Heroes
What does inclusion mean to you?
For me, inclusion is knowing that our collective strength lies in our differences, and not in our similarities. Inclusion is a choice we make every day when we embrace diversity and open our minds to not just tolerate but appreciate the myriad of ways that everybody we meet is so wonderfully different from us.
What is the most valuable thing you have learned since you joined Deloitte?
I have learnt the importance of being able to break down a problem and understand it. At Deloitte we find ways to simplify complex problems and find effective solutions to them. This would not be possible if weren’t such a diverse organisation that promotes a variety of perspectives.
We all bring a wide mix of experiences to the table, and that helps us to collaborate more effectively to find the best solutions.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone relocating their life and career to Ireland?
Don’t think twice! Ireland is a beautiful country with wonderful people and an amazing, rich history!
Working in Ireland will give you the opportunity to expand your network and clients while working with colleagues who are warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful.
