Ronan has over 11 years financial services and international tax experience and specialises in Insurance, Banking, Securitisation and Structured Finance. Ronan has advised a number of high-profile clients on a wide variety of domestic and international tax issues, including advising on the tax consequences of or inbound/outbound investment projects including Brexit related restructuring, merger and acquisition projects including due diligence, acquisition and restructuring work and other advisory assignments including migration, inward investment and the implementation of tax efficient securitisation structures.
Ronan has also advised extensively on the gross roll up taxation regime which applies to life assurance companies in Ireland and the tax implications for both Irish resident and non-resident policy holders. Ronan manages a number of international Insurance tax advisory and compliance assignments, is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute and has been published in Finance Dublin and the International Tax Review.
