Marguarita is Head of Not for Profit Audit & Assurance Services. She has over 17 years’ experience serving this sector which includes healthcare, social housing, education, NGOs and charities. She is the engagement lead on the audit engagements of a significant number of hospitals and HSE funded organisations. She has particular experience of providing value add to those charged with governance in state funded organisations and also those in a voluntary capacity. She is experienced in the review of accounting systems and financial controls, including the identification of weaknesses in systems and areas for improvement. Marguarita has significant experience reporting to the Boards and Audit Committees of large national and international charities and has deep knowledge of the Charities SORP and FRS102. She has served as a committee member of Chartered Accountants Ireland Charity and Not for Profit Group. Marguarita is a qualified chartered accountant (FCA). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University.
