Louise McEntee

Partner, Technology & Transformation | Central Government Leader

Louise leads Deloitte Ireland’s Operations Solutions offering, working with clients to re-imagine and re-design their operations and services, to embed low and no code technology, drive efficiency and improve citizen, customer and employee experience.

Louise has worked across the Irish and UK public sectors on the delivery of major transformation and change programmes for over 20 years. She has partnered with clients across the civil & public services including criminal justice, policing, health & social care, transport, taxation, housing, and central government. She also has significant experience working in financial services and the not-for-profit sector.

Louise works extensively with senior client stakeholders to define and deliver on a strategic vision. Through her extensive public sector client work, Louise has gained in-depth knowledge of public service reform from a political, policy and delivery perspective.

Louise has most recently worked with senior leadership at the Courts Service, the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, the Department of Justice and the Health Service Executive.

Louise is lead partner for Central Government and for Deloitte Ireland's Intelligent Automation Team, which works to support organisations to enhance their customer, employee, and citizen journeys, by embedding low code and no code technologies across their services. Louise has led the Deloitte team who serve the Irish public service through the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) and Department of Government Expenditure (DPER) automation framework. Over the past 5 years, as the single framework delivery partner, Louise and her team have returned €3+ for every €1 invested in automation initiatives, releasing 1 million+ hours  (and still counting) back to the Irish public service, significantly reducing service backlogs and enhancing service quality and efficiency.

Louise is a graduate of University College Dublin (UCD). She completed a Masters of Business Studies at the Smurfit Graduate School of Business, and Bachelor of Commerce also at UCD.

Louise serves as a board member with Young Social Innovators. YSI is a non-profit organisation that empowers young people to use their talents, insights, passion and creativity to come up with innovative solutions to social challenges. Every year, some 15,000 young people are supported through their programmes to effect positive change in their communities.
