Joseph specialises in advising listed groups, high growth Irish companies and private equity houses on mergers and acquisitions, real estate tax, Pillar Two and general corporate and international tax matters.
Joseph has performed tax advisory work for a number of large real estate groups and has been involved in tax due diligence and providing advice in relation to the use of Irish companies in international structures (particularly for Private Equity acquisitions). Joseph has advised on a variety of strategic and compliance issues surrounding withholding tax, Investment Undertaking Tax, Irish Real Estate Fund Tax and the acquisition/disposal of real estate assets.
Joseph has assisted multi-national groups in various aspects of Pillar Two, inclusive of modelling impacts for future accounting periods, obtaining the required data for both Safe Harbour and full GloBe calculations and the preparation of financial statement disclosures.
Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from University College Dublin, is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute.
