John Bruton was a member of Dail Eireann for thirty-five years, held various ministerial portfolios and served as Taoiseach.
He was Ambassador of the European Union to the United States for five years and is a former Vice-president of the European Peoples Party. He is President of IFSC Ireland and has a number of non-executive director appointments.
