Craig Bale is a Director with Deloitte Transaction Services having joined Deloitte in 2004. Previously Craig worked with PwC Transaction Services London and PKF Corporate Finance London.

Craig is a highly experienced transaction services director and has led complex due diligence projects for many of the UK’s top private equity firms and UK/Irish corporate entities.

  • Naturgy: Vendor due diligence support on the disposal of Naturgy to DCC.
  • Brookfield: Financial and tax due diligence for underbidder on the proposed acquisition of Brookfield.
  • Naturgy (Gas Natural Fenosa): Transaction support on the acquisition of Vayu, an Irish gas and electricity marketer focused on commercial and industrial customers, which also purchases and sells renewable energy from small generators.
  • EPH: Financial due diligence in relation to the acquisition of AES Kilroot Power Ltd and AES Ballylumford Power Ltd.
  • Foresight Group: Transaction support on the acquisition of Simple Power Limited
  • ESB: Financial diligence in relation to the investment in Oriel Windfarm Limited.
  • SWS Natural Resources: Vendor due diligence for the disposal of the wind energy business for consideration of circa €500m.
  • Novus Modus: Financial & tax due diligence and SPA support for the investment in Wind Energy Direct, a turbine installation and maintenance company.
  • Undisclosed corporate: Financial and tax due diligence review and SPA advice prior to the proposed acquisition of Viridian Power & Energy (Energia supply business, conventional & renewable generation portfolios) and NIE Energy Supply.
  • ESB Wind Development: Financial and tax due diligence and SPA advice on the acquisition of West Durham Wind Farm Limited and Devon Wind Power Limited, two UK based development wind farms
  • SWS Natural Resources: Vendor due diligence for the disposal of the wind energy business to Bord Gais for consideration of circa €500m;
  • Transaction support to an undisclosed corporate on the proposed acquisition of Bord Gáis Energy;
  • Financial and tax due diligence review and SPA advice prior to the proposed acquisition of Viridian Power & Energy and NIE Energy Supply.
