Brian O'Callaghan

Brian is a partner in Deloitte’s Financial Services Audit group with a particular focus on the provision of audit and advisory services to clients in the aviation finance and leasing sector. Brian has more than 19 years’ experience advising international and domestic companies with assurance and advisory offerings, including in the aviation finance, banking, structured finance, insurance, and stock-broking sectors.

He has significant experience in the IFRS and US GAAP reporting frameworks and in the implementation of regulatory developments such as Solvency II. Brian’s perspectives on the adoption of IFRS 16 in the aviation finance industry have been published extensively and he frequently speaks at global aviation conferences on financial reporting developments affecting the sector.

He joined Deloitte in 1999. Since that period he has also spent three years in Australia working in the aviation finance industry, primarily in Allco Finance Group.
