Automation of Processes Using RPA Technology

Choose a tailored solution to ensure legal compliance and simplify your administrative business processes with the help of RPA technology!

The business world is constantly evolving, and companies must keep up to stay competitive. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one of the key tools of digital transformation, enabling the automation of repetitive, time-consuming tasks. This leads to more efficient use of resources and improved quality.

Today, process automation is a widely adopted technology that allows companies to easily automate manual, time-intensive tasks. Below, we provide a detailed overview of the benefits of automation, the most common business use cases, and our readily available solutions.

In which areas can robotic process automation be applied?

RPA can be applied across numerous industries, enabling companies to better utilize their resources. Below are some key application areas:

1. Finance and Accounting: Financial processes such as invoice management—including bulk invoice generation—expense reporting, and transaction verification are often time-consuming and involve large volumes of data. RPA automates these tasks, reducing errors and increasing efficiency.

2. HR Processes: Automating recruitment, onboarding administration, and payroll can save significant time and effort for HR departments. RPA can also assist with candidate management, resume screening, and interview scheduling.

3. Customer Service: Handling repetitive, simple inquiries and requests—such as answering billing questions—can be easily automated with RPA. This frees up customer service representatives to focus on more complex issues.

4. Supply Chain Management: RPA can be applied in various parts of the supply chain, such as inventory management, procurement processes, and shipment tracking. Automation reduces delays and improves accuracy.

5. Data Management and Reporting: Business data analysis and report generation are also greatly supported by RPA technology, which can automatically collect, analyze, and present data in report form. This is especially useful for accelerating decision-making.

Some common use cases for implementing robotic process automation include:

The Online Invoicing Robot provides significant support in issuing large volumes of invoices. This robot enables mass invoice generation on the Online Invoicing platform by filling out an Excel template. Thanks to the automated process, all issued invoices are entered into the Online Invoice system with accurate data every time. Moreover, through automation, the company can achieve substantial labor savings, as manually issuing thousands of invoices could take employees several days of work.

The automation generates the appropriate form with the correct format and structure based on specified data. The completed form is saved as a Word file in a predefined folder, and a PDF version is also created alongside it. At the end of the process, an email can be sent to notify the user about the successful completion of the forms. Initially, a manual review step can be integrated at this point. Afterwards, the robot sends the PDF document to the relevant Hungarian authority, attaching any necessary documents, such as a Power of Attorney (POA). Upon successful submission, the automation downloads the confirmation file and saves it to the designated folder.

Our solution is capable of filling out the necessary EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) reporting data templates within the OKIR system and seamlessly integrates with the National Environmental Information System to meet all reporting requirements. By automating the data entry process, this solution ensures accuracy and saves valuable time. Once the report is completed, the prepared and filled data package is automatically saved to the governmental OKIR system. This eliminates manual work, reduces the risk of errors, and improves compliance with environmental regulations.

By automating the exchange rate retrieval process, the company can receive updated daily exchange rate data in the desired format. The process is capable of downloading the current daily exchange rates from both the ECB and the MNB websites.

The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) robot process downloads the necessary sanctions lists from websites provided by the United Nations and the European Union. Based on a pre-configured setup, it checks whether any of the company’s clients pose a risk factor. If such clients are found, the robot flags them in an Excel file. At the end of the process, the robot sends a notification email to the team with the updated Excel database attached. This solution not only improves risk management and compliance but also significantly reduces administrative burdens and time investment, allowing the company to focus on its core business activities.

If the above has sparked your interest but you still have doubts about process automation, allow us to summarize the key points about RPA.

RPA is no longer an exclusive privilege of large corporations. It is a technology accessible even to small and medium-sized enterprises that can revolutionize operations.

RPA is not just a technological innovation but a strategic tool that enables companies to streamline their daily operations while reducing costs and improving service quality. Implementing automation solutions today can provide a competitive advantage, leading to sustainable long-term growth. By selecting the right application areas, RPA ensures that companies can quickly respond to the challenges of a changing business environment. Our solutions are primarily available as RaaS (Robotics as a Service) within the Deloitte environment, with flexibility to deviate upon special requests. Every automation goes through an internal Deloitte standard security and quality control process.
