On 13 November 2025, the Minister of Finance presented
the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana for the 2026 financial year (“2026 Budget Statement”) to Parliament. This presentation was made in accordance with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution and Section 21of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
The 2026 Budget Statement was delivered under the theme “Resetting for Growth, Jobs, and Economic Transformation”. It outlined the Government’s strategic priorities for the coming year, focusing on consolidating macroeconomic stability, accelerating economic transformation and job creation, and strengthening security and social sectors for inclusive growth.
