Serwa is an accomplished professional with over 29 years’ experience in organizational transformation, governance and operational excellence. She has a proven track record of leading finance transformation initiatives, conducting governance reviews, enabling enterprise performance management as well as performing forensic, internal and external audits. She has also been instrumental in driving institutional reform for both public and private sector clients across Africa.

Serwa is an accomplished professional with over 29 years’ experience in organizational transformation, governance and operational excellence. She has a proven track record of leading finance transformation initiatives, conducting governance reviews, enabling enterprise performance management as well as performing forensic, internal and external audits. She has also been instrumental in driving institutional reform for both public and private sector clients across Africa.

Serwa joined Deloitte as a Consulting Partner in 2023, where she leads the International Affairs and Development Team. As a Partner, she delivers tailored consulting services to public and private sector clients, supporting their strategic objectives and driving sustainable impact.

She is also the Deloitte Talent Leader for West Africa, demonstrating her strong leadership skills, commitment to people development, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Serwa consistently delivers results in challenging and dynamic environments. She has successfully managed complex, multi-disciplinary assignments, including:

  • Serving as Fund Manager for the Liberia Agricultural Commercialization Fund (LACF) for the Ministry of Agriculture, Liberia.
  • Leading the development of Regional Electricity Regulatory Principles (RERP) and Regulatory and Utility Key Performance Indicators (UKPI) for the ECOWAS Regional Electricity and Regulatory Authority (ERERA), where she is also overseeing the harmonised comparison of Electricity Tariffs (HCET) in ECOWAS, including cost-reflectivity assessments.
  • Headed a team of power experts to review selected operations of the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) of Sierra Leone and provided recommendations to reduce losses and enhance efficiency.

With a robust background in professional finance services, she is a trusted advisor dedicated to client satisfaction, nurturing talent, and driving innovation.

Serwa is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and holds an MSc in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, Accra.
