Abena Biney is the West Africa Chief Sustainabilty Officer and Audit & Assurance Partner at Deloitte Ghana. She is a Chartered Accountant with a strong academic and professional background. She is a graduate of the University of Botswana, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) U.K. and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana.
Abena has gained over nineteen years’ experience in auditing, accounting and finance. She has managed a number of engagements in the financial service sector, specializing in Banking. In addition to this, she has a strong audit background and experience with consumer businesses and non-governmental organisations.
Aside from her core Audit function, Abena is a Deloitte accredited facilitator and has a passion for staff development.
