Maris is a Tax Senior Manager and the Lead of Indirect Taxes in Deloitte Estonia. She has 10 years of experience as a tax professional. Maris started her career at the Estonian tax authorities’ office, shortly after moving on to tax consulting business where she gained valuable experience in domestic and cross-border tax consultations in both indirect and direct tax matters and tax due diligences. Prior to joining Deloitte, Maris was an in-house senior tax advisor at multinational commodity trading house in the oil and gas industry.

Maris has studied Taxation and Customs in the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and holds a Master´s degree in Accounting and Finance from Tallinn University of Technology.
