EUDR and CBAM webinar

This webinar will focus on the latest updates and compliance strategies for two important ESG and customs duty topics: EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

According to the EUDR regulation, large and mid-sized companies will need to comply with EUDR requirements from 30 December 2025. Micro and small companies have until 30 June 2026 to comply with the regulation. During our webinar, we will provide you with a simplified, yet comprehensive, overview of EUDR requirements, and discuss the latest EU updates to EUDR (incl. simplification of EUDR requirements), and how these updates may impact your work on EUDR.

On CBAM, we will cover the latest EU updates, including those related to CBAM as part of the EU’s Omnibus regulatory proposal. In relation to these recent EU updates, we want to focus on the new CBAM threshold of 50 tonnes of imports of CBAM-covered products per year. We will also cover the removal of verification requirements for standard values from 1 January 2026, as well as the new reporting deadlines and new deadlines for the purchase of CBAM certificates.

We will also outline some suggested strategies for you to pursue in your business in relation to these updates, with some clear take-aways.

From an EUDR perspective, this webinar is aimed at companies that produce EUDR-covered products in the EU-27, companies that import, sell, or purchase EUDR-covered products in the EU-27, as well as companies that export EUDR-covered products from the EU-27 (i.e., palm oil, soya, wood, cocoa, coffee, cattle-derived products and rubber products).

For CBAM, the webinar is relevant for companies that are importing products subject to CBAM into the EU-27 (NB: we will focus on iron, steel, aluminium, fertiliser and cement during this webinar, as these products are most impacted by the recent EU changes to CBAM).
