SDG Accelerator
New business solutions to sustainability challenges
The SDG Accelerator is an innovation programme for Danish SMEs executed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Monitor Deloitte in 2018 and 2019. In the programme, the SDGs are used as a lever to create and accelerate innovative business solutions to the goals. Deloitte is the implementing partner of the SDG Accelerator innovation process, where 32 companies have participated. During a 9-month innovation journey, we have taken the companies through the entire innovation process from idea generation to solution design and implementation. During the programme, the companies have developed innovative business solutions that help solve sustainability challenges. We are highly thankful for financial support for the SDG Accelerator programme received from The Danish Industry Foundation.
SDG Business Booster
Scaling sustainable business solutions
The SDG Business Booster programme launched in 2018 and focuses on leveraging Danish companies’ growth and export opportunities through their solutions to the SDGs. The programme is implemented by Deloitte in collaboration with Copenhagen Business Hub, Advice, Roskilde University and CONNECT Denmark. During the programme, we work with the participating companies to define and sharpen their value propositions – both in terms of SDG impact and business value creation. We then progress to define growth initiatives with the companies, by helping companies with sustainable solutions to identify key markets and formulate go-to-market strategies that can help them get there. We are highly thankful for the financial support for the SDG Accelerator received from The Danish Industry Foundation.
AM Sustain
Sustainable innovation through 3D print technology
AM Sustain is an innovation programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focusing on Additive Manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing, innovation and sustainability. The programme is executed in cooperation with Danish AM Hub, the AM Center of Excellence in Denmark. By identifying key problems or untapped opportunities across the participating companies’ value chain, we build a case on how 3D print and the SDGs' strategic focus on future market needs can develop new revenue streams, new products, new processes or value chain changes. Throughout the pandemic, 3D print has proven to be a true lever for innovation in global supply chains. Now we need to help SMEs adapt and accelerate. Danish AM Hub, funded by The Danish Industry Foundation, is the key financial contributor to AM Sustain, thereby making it possible for SMEs to work with sustainable innovation and emerging technologies.
