Purposia Group and MTX Group join forces in a joint venture

Coral Construction Technologies aims to conquer the world with 3D-printed buildings. To achieve this, it will leverage the combined resources and know-how of MTX Group and Purposia Group.

Purposia Group has acquired a 50% stake in Coral Construction Technologies, a company newly spun off from ICE Industrial Services. The joint venture between MTX Group and Purposia Group focuses on 3D printing of concrete structures and construction automation. The parties have not disclosed the value of the transaction.

Both groups have long collaborated through their construction companies ICE Industrial Services and HSF System. Coral Construction Technologies is the result of a shared vision to break through with pioneering concrete 3D printing technology and to become a global leader in construction automation. At present, Coral is working on the world’s first 3D-printed church project in Neratovice. The company is also building a reputation abroad. Its technology is attracting interest in the United Kingdom and several North American countries. Looking ahead, expansion into Southeast Asia is also on the table, where 3D printing is on the rise.
