Impact Every Day

Christmas is a time when we think more about those who are not so lucky. Young people from children's homes often face a huge challenge: to leave home and start living independently, without a family background. That is why we have been cooperating with the non-profit organization Nadání a dovednosti for many years on the project called ROZHLED, which gives them the most important thing: the opportunity to develop their skills and abilities.

This year, our holiday greeting holds an exceptionally powerful story. The illustration for it was painted by fourteen-year-old Lili, a charming and energetic girl who will graduate from elementary school next year. She comes from a children's home in Ostrava-Hrabová and is still searching for the direction she will take after school. Though she is interested in a career as a nurse, she is equally drawn to the world of cosmetics and beauty care. In her free time, she loves to dance, enjoys music, and truly comes alive among people, she is very sociable, open, and communicative. And not just for her, but for other students as well, there is the ROZHLED project, which helps them find their direction and strengthen the talents that they can apply in their future careers.
