We recognize the importance of mental health care, which is an essential part of everyone's overall well-being. We know that mental health has a significant impact on the satisfaction, productivity and loyalty of our employees.
We support mental hygiene and work-life balance programs. Since 2021, we have been following the so-called "basic rules of mental health" in our company, which reflect clear expectations in each country where we operate.
This is a set of requirements that include areas such as regular leadership training, reducing stigma, providing support or identifying the causes of poor mental health, along with appropriate measures to address them.
We also do not forget about regular company-wide awareness-raising, for example through podcasts with our experts and leaders in the field of wellbeing, dissemination of educational materials such as articles, videos, e-learning, etc.
We believe that every company should put emphasis on the mental well-being of its employees and work to eliminate the persistent stigma in the company. That's why we're proud to become a founding member of the Global Business Collaboration for Better Workplace Mental Health (GBC), which was established in January 2021 to promote and accelerate positive change in mental health in the workplace globally.
Deloitte also focuses on research and publishing studies on the importance of mental health at work. Since 2020, our survey of millennials and Gen Z has provided crucial information about the mental health of these groups.
