What is BankID?
BankID is a highly secure digital identity that will be provided by Czech banks from 2021 and that will facilitate and speed up electronic communication between citizens and public and private entities. BankID will enable secure digital signing of documents and transactions, unify clients' login and identification data for different services and accounts, and generally simplify and digitize processes that until then required the customer's physical presence at a branch.
