Participation in Cost EU-funded Programme

We are proud to announce that our Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre participates in the Management Committee of the newly-approved COST Action with the acronym “PEARL PV”, Performance and Reliability of Photovoltaic Systems: Evaluations of Large-Scale Monitoring Data, which focuses on the improvement of the energy performance and reliability of PV systems leading to (i) lower costs by a higher yield, (ii) a longer life time and (iii) a reduction of perceived risk.

COST Actions are bottom-up science and technology networks, open to researchers and stakeholders with a duration of four years. They are active through a range of networking tools, such as workshops, conferences, training schools, short-term scientific missions (STSMs), and dissemination activities. The 1st MC meeting was successfully held in Brussels on the 5th October 2017, where Eliza Loucaidou (Senior Manager at the IEC) was elected as the Science Communication Manager of the Action.
