Cyprus, 24 November 2025 - Deloitte Cyprus announces the strengthening of its leadership team with the appointment of Vaios Makrygiannis as Partner, Transfer Pricing Leader, effective 1 December 2025.
Makrygiannis joins Deloitte Cyprus from Deloitte Greece where he also served as a Partner, brining over 18 years of experience in tax across Greece and the United Kingdom. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing complex Transfer Pricing engagements that have consistently delivered tangible value to clients. His primary focus has been the analysis of intra-group loans and financial transactions in general. Makrygiannis has successfully completed numerous Transfer Pricing projects, which involved documentation, due diligence, planning, and negotiating with tax authorities. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking Administration from the University of Piraeus and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Stuttgart. Makrygiannis’ deep insight into the Transfer Pricing landscape, combined with his strong leadership capabilities, has established him as a trusted advisor to key clients and stakeholders alike.
We’re confident that Vaios’ addition to our Direct Tax partners’ team will significantly enhance our Transfer Pricing offering. With his unparalleled expertise, Vaios is well-equipped to address vital market developments, challenges, and client needs to drive their successful handling of the requirements imposed under this rapidly evolving and expanding area. We all look forward to working with Vaios and are confident that together we can make an impact for our clients, our people, and the wider Deloitte network.
