Deloitte Cyprus is pleased to announce that the whole team of Lux Actuaries & Consultants (Cyprus) Ltd, has joined Deloitte, with the aim to establish the firm as the leader in Actuarial Services in Cyprus and the wider region.
With effect from 1 January 2019, the team operates under the name of Deloitte Actuarial Services Limited. Dimitris Dimitriou and Marios Schizas, who have been admitted to the Deloitte partnership, lead the team which now comprises of 4 UK qualified actuaries and 8 partly qualified analysts.
The team has extensive experience in serving the markets of Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Gibraltar and the Middle East. Its ambition is to rapidly expand over the next year to become the actuarial centre of excellence within the Deloitte network in the wider region.
The services offered by Deloitte Actuarial Services Limited include statutory actuarial work, advisory services, analytics and audit support to life and non-life insurers.
This is a very important milestone for Deloitte as the integration of Lux Actuaries & Consultants (Cyprus) Ltd into the network will expand the firm’s capabilities in delivering Actuarial Services. The team’s competences will be of great value not only to our local firm but also to the wider Deloitte network. We look forward to providing this new service offering to both existing and new clients.
