Yiannis Leonidou is an Audit partner based in Nicosia, with over 25 years of experience in the audit profession, and specialises in the technology, financing, retailing, automotive, healthcare, leisure and construction sectors, and has experience in the audit of multinational companies listed both on the Cyprus and other foreign stock exchanges, as well as in the audit of private local and international large groups. He has travelled to many countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia to lead Group audit assignments. Yiannis leads the Hospitality and Leisure Industry in the Middle East and Cyprus.
Yiannis has served as the Chairman of ICPAC’s IFRS committee for three years and is currently the Chairman of ICPAC’s Audit and Assurance Committee. He has also served as a member of other ICPAC Committees, including Information Technology and Hospitality. He is a member of the Board of Cyprus-India and Cyprus-Kazakhstan Association of CCI. He is also a member of the Deloitte Cyprus office Audit Quality Board, and in the past he served as the System of Quality Control Partner of Deloitte Cyprus. He also authors several articles related to the profession.
