Panayiotis is a Tax Partner at Deloitte Cyprus with over 15 years of experience. Panayiotis joined Deloitte in 2009 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012. Panayiotis holds a BSc degree in Accounting & Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation of the UK (CIOT). He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and serves on the Energy Committee of the Institute.
Panayiotis specialises in local and international tax issues. He offers both tax compliance and tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients which includes large local groups and multinationals operating in Cyprus across various industries.
Panayiotis also advises clients on Corporate Restructuring and Merger and Acquisition (M&A) projects and has accumulated significant expertise on tax due diligence and structuring projects, tax-free reorganizations, group restructurings and business combinations and takeovers.
In addition, he is involved with the provision of Transfer Pricing (TP) services including advising on the TP implications of various deals and supporting clients with their Transfer Pricing documentation obligations.
Panayiotis is also the Chief Tax Officer of Deloitte Cyprus and the firm’s Industry Leader for Energy, Resources and Industrials.
