Nicholas Homatenos

Nicholas has been with Deloitte for over a decade and has played a pivotal role in the Strategy & Transactions team (formerly Financial Advisory), contributing to revenue growth and diversification of our service offerings. He has served a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, including some of the firm’s most strategic accounts.

He has a strong track record of identifying and capitalising on unmet client needs. Notably, he pioneered and commercialised specialised valuation services, including Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOP), derivative valuations (such as convertible bonds and other financial instruments) and IFRS 15 loyalty schemes. He currently leads the local financial modelling team in Cyprus, where he has successfully mentored and developed team members in this critical area. In addition, he has led numerous high-profile feasibility studies and business plan engagements.  Having worked across different industries, he has gained extensive experience in the Transportation, Hospitality & Services and Healthcare segments.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Surrey, and an MBA from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing. He is also a CFA charterholder and an active member of the Cyprus CFA Society.
