Josh Hjartarson is Deloitte’s Global Leader for the Human Services and Senior Fellow, Service Delivery Modernization and Commissioning at the Institute of Public Administration of Canada. He has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Toronto, where he taught for 10 years. He has more than 20 years of experience leading social sector transformation as a government official, an academic, an advocate, and now a consultant. In his current role, he stewards a practice of more than 5,000 practitioners globally in a shared mission to help modernize the key pillars of our national social safety nets.
