Ioanna-Maria has over fifteen years of professional experience, including eight years in Transaction Services, advising private equity, PE-backed and corporate clients in the UK, where she was involved in a number of high-profile cross-border transactions. Ioanna-Maria joined Deloitte in March 2025, following her repatriation to Cyprus after approximately 20 years in the UK.
She has led and delivered over 50 buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects, including reviews of complex financial models, across a wide range of industries and sectors such as business services, financial services, professional services, and technology, particularly SaaS and IaaS. Throughout her career, Ioanna-Maria has also contributed to business growth and talent development through her active involvement in recruitment and training, while she has been actively involved in female-led initiatives and mentorship programmes.
Ioanna-Maria holds a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Environmental Technology, both from Imperial College London. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
