Georgia Karayiannides

Georgia is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance Department and a key member of the IFRS Centre of Excellence in Nicosia. A UK-qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) and IPSAS Certified, she brings over 15 years of global experience in accounting, audit, and complex IFRS advisory for multinational organizations, particularly in the oil and gas sector. Georgia specializes in financial reporting transformation, ERP system migrations, IFRS implementations (including IFRS 15, 16, 9), and IPSAS advisory. She has led major projects for the European Commission and the Republic of Cyprus Treasury, supporting the rollout of financial reporting consolidation systems (FRCS), group Chart of Accounts (CoA), and consolidated financial statements. Through Deloitte Academy, Georgia delivers customized IFRS training for professionals at all levels and has a proven track record in guiding clients through budgeting, group reporting, cost controlling, and internal audit compliance. Holding a First-Class BA in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University and a BSc in Computer Science, she combines technical depth with strategic insight. Georgia is known for her hands-on approach and ability to simplify complex reporting requirements into actionable solutions.
