David serves as the US Cyber Innovation, Transformation & Marketing Leader. As part of his Innovation Leader role, David focuses on facilitating and shepherding the next generation of innovation and investments for Deloitte’s Cyber practice. As part of his Transformation Leader role, he oversees various strategic Transformation priorities for the Cyber practice; and as part of his Marketing Leader role, he works with Deloitte’s CMO and marketing team to drive Deloitte’s Cyber marketing priorities.
Prior to his current leadership roles, he served as the US Clients & Industries Leader, where he focused on driving growth across Deloitte's commercial portfolio of industries and sectors while promoting the highest level of client excellence. David has also served in dual roles as the Identity & Access Management practice leader and the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry leader for the Cyber practice.
Over his 25 years of professional experience, David has held various business and client leadership roles and has been shaped by the opportunity to work with some of the world's most innovative companies. He speaks and writes frequently on technology risk topics. Recent publications include the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and various Deloitte and other publications. Recent speaking engagements include ISC2, Silicon Valley Directors' Community, various Boards and Audit Committees, the Gartner Identity conference, and the RSA Security Conference.
David has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Southern California (USC).
