Angelos is a Director at Deloitte Cyprus with over 12 years of experience in professional services. Since joining Deloitte in 2013, he manages a diverse client portfolio that includes Cyprus-based companies, multinational organisations, and high-net-worth individuals, focusing on both local and international tax issues.
A key member of the tax compliance and advisory team, Angelos serves clients in sectors such as Financial Services, Oil & Gas, and Technology. His expertise spans across complex tax issues, including restructurings, tax due diligence and liquidations. Additionally, he co-leads the Global Employer Services at Deloitte Cyprus, providing specialised tax consulting and compliance services, with a focus on personal taxation and private structures. Furthermore, Angelos is leading Deloitte’s team providing advisory and compliance services in relation to the application of EU Directive on Administrative Cooperation 2018/822 (DAC6).
Angelos holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Beyond client services, he facilitates tax seminars and presentations through Deloitte Academy Cyprus, actively engages in ICPAC sub-committees, and advises the Cyprus Tax Authorities and Ministry of Finance on EU directives, policy development, and issuance of complex tax circulars.
