Marlene is a consulting services principal in Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP. Marlene has worked in the energy and resources sector for over 29 years and in the renewable energy sector for 18 years. She consults with clients across many industry sectors who are investing in the renewable energy sector or procuring renewable energy as they work to set and achieve sustainability and decarbonization goals. She provides insight into the drivers and challenges, market dynamics, and financial aspects of implementing renewable solutions. She also has experience helping clients establishing and implementing renewable energy strategies. Marlene has particular experience with virtual power purchase agreements including client education, running RFPs, bid down selection and supporting term sheet and contract negotiations.
Marlene also works with clients in the area of valuation and financial consulting including the valuation and modelling of electric generating projects, renewable energy projects, gas and electric transmission and distribution networks. She has experience with a wide variety of renewable energy technologies including wind, solar, energy storage, RNG, hydroelectric, fuel cells and biomass.
She has an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
