Miglena Micheva

Miglena has a master’s degree in Law from the Sofia University and is a member of the Sofia Bar Association. Her postgraduate specializations include Legal Practice Diploma program of College of Law (International Joint Ventures, International Commercial Law, etc.). Miglena is a recognized specialist in personal data protection legislation. She is CIPP/ E, CIPM and FIP certified. She is Co-Chair of Deloitte CE Data privacy Group.

Miglena has specialized in the field of personal data protection, assisting data controllers from different industries in analyzing types of personal data and security measures, creating compliance policies, transferring data to third parties and represntation proceedings before the CPDP.

As a head of Deloitte's personal data protection team, Miglena is actively involved in GDPR compliance projects for various clients. She is also one of the keynote speakers in personal data protection training sessions, organized by Deloitte individually or in collaboration with other organizations.
