The implementation period for the transformation of the EU Mobility Directive ended in January 2023. Although not all EU Member States have already transposed the directive into national law already, the possibility of cross-border demergers and cross-border transfers of registered offices with a change of legal form, has now finally become possible for many companies within the EU.
