Our office

Our office is centrally located on the island of Tortola, the island’s hub for business. Our team has deep industry expertise and access to world-class training, positioning us to stay abreast of the evolving market and to drive sustainable growth among our clients. The British Virgin Islands (BVI) also has a growing expat community so for newcomers to the island, it tends to be easy to make new connections. The BVI has a year-round tropical climate, lush green landscapes, and serene beaches, making it the optimal environment for both business and leisure. BVI is comparatively small relative to our other office locations across the Bermuda and Caribbean region, more charming and quaint – the perfect home for those who appreciate a more rustic Caribbean Island.

  • Here’s how we support your journey upon joining us

    For those joining from overseas, we also provide additional support including:

    Work permit: Our Talent team will support you with the process of obtaining a work permit to live and work in British Virgin Islands.

    Contracts ranging from 18 to 24 months: Along with long-term contracts we offer opportunities for continuity based on performance and business needs. Prior to the end of your contract, we will work with you to explore your opportunities.

    Initial accommodation: We'll coordinate getting you from the airport to your initial accommodation paid for by us.

    Relocation allowance and interest-free loan: We make your relocation easy by providing a relocation allowance upon arrival to help with moving expenses and an interest-free loan made available to you on Day 1 to help with any additional expenses.

    Flights: Travel on us! We also cover the cost of your airfare.

Becoming a part of our team

Competitive compensation in a low-tax jurisdiction. Our competitive total rewards package is aligned with the local market, including compensation and benefits. No income tax will be imposed on your earnings while working in the British Virgin Islands, so come and take advantage of working in a low-tax jurisdiction.

Ambassador Program. You’ll have an Ambassador to make the transition seamless. As part of our robust onboarding program, new hires are paired with an Ambassador ─ a current employee ─ who will provide you with support transitioning to our office whether from on island, or off-island with relocation-related advice, including guidance on what to pack and where to find housing. 

Get involved. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved and stay connected at Deloitte - from town hall meetings, firm sponsored committees, team building activities, and other social events. We also provide our people with opportunities and resources to be leaders in their communities through skills-based volunteering, pro bono, charitable giving and more. In addition to office-driven projects and our annual IMPACT Day, through our Individual Volunteer Program, our people can spend up to 16 hours annually during regular work hours (not weekends), to devote to a project that is of importance to them.
