Director, Trinidad - Growth, Purpose and Marketing Leader

Sonja is the Marketing Leader for Deloitte Caribbean and has over 19 years’ experience crafting marketing strategy, based on stakeholder analysis, client targeting and organizational goals to design and execute marketing and communication campaigns.

She spearheads the firm’s business marketing and eminence strategies. She also leads the firm’s community outreach efforts through the design of programs and establishment of reporting frameworks for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability and climate programs across the region and in Trinidad & Tobago. with emphasis on ESG programs for clients.

Sonja has worked across multiple sectors & industries both public and private and her past experience includes 3 years’ at InvesTT, where she was responsible for international, regional and local business stakeholders and clients and led the design and value proposition development of promotional campaigns and sector investment profiles and facilitated trade missions, to stimulate & generate Foreign Direct Investment.

Sonja holds a Post Graduate Diploma Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and a Post Graduate Diploma Business Administration from the University of Leicester, UK.
