Lily is a Director in Deloitte's Financial Advisory practice, with over 17 years of professional experience providing valuation-related services to global clients in a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Lily served at a global investment management organisation, where she led the quarterly valuation process of ~$250 billion global private investments portfolio (e.g. Direct private equity, infrastructure, power and renewables, energy and resources, venture capital and fund investments) while managing stakeholder relationships across multiple global offices, partners and functions to ensure alignment with the fund's strategy. Lily’s extensive experience also includes being part of the Canadian valuations group at a Big 4 accountancy practice for 13 years, where she worked on mandates including strategic decision and deal advisory, pre-and-post M&A valuation, private equity valuation, tax structuring and corporate reorganization, financial modelling, and equity research. In this role, Lily served clients in industries such as private equity, utilities and renewable energy, automotive, retail and consumer products, software and technology, hospitality and tourism, among others.
Lily holds a Honours Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (BAFM) and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) from University of Waterloo in Canada. She is also a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Canada) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
