John Marrs is an Audit & Assurance partner at Deloitte Cayman Islands with over 14 years of experience at Deloitte, including 12 years in the Cayman Islands focusing on investment management.
John leads audits of various financial services clients, including hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity funds and banks. He largely focuses on leading alternative investment fund audits for a Global Crown Jewel client.
John plays an active role on the firm’s business development team and eminence building activities, and has also led internal special projects including USI integration, Private Funds Act implementation and office relocation.
John holds a Masters of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration –Accounting/Finance from Texas State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Cayman Islands Institute of Public Accountants.
