Aziza Yuldasheva

Aziza is an international tax principal in Deloitte’s Washington National Tax office with more than 15 years of tax experience. She is a tax specialist in the areas of foreign currency transactions, cross-border finance, and treasury operations. Aziza works closely with tax and treasury departments of multinationals assisting them in designing and implementing global cash pools, hedging programs, and other in-house bank functions, as well as related software systems. She also provides tax advice on foreign exchange, finance, and risk management matters in the context of M&A, post-merger integration, internal restructuring, repatriation, investment management, and other planning, as well as tax filings and tax controversy. Aziza co-leads Deloitte’s Global International Tax Finance & Treasury competency and is a frequent speaker and instructor on these issues.

Aziza received her undergraduate degree in International Business/Finance from Eastern Michigan University (magna cum laude), the JD degree from Wayne State University Law School (cum laude, Law Review), and the LLM (Tax) degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She is a first-generation immigrant and resides with her family in Virginia's countryside.
