As a Director in the Deloitte Cayman Islands Risk Advisory and Consulting practice, Alexandra drives Cyber and Strategic Risk programmes for clients in various industries, including Public Sector and Financial Services. She helps organizations establish proper cybersecurity and IT strategy and governance, improve efficiency, stay secure, and protect their data and assets. She has over 20 years of experience in technology and security and over 13 years of performing services for Deloitte’s clients in the Cayman Islands and across the Caribbean and Bermuda Countries (CBC). This includes work in digital risk, project management, security and data privacy assessments, cyber incident response, system implementation, and data analytics.
Alexandra has a Ph.D. in Information Assurance and Security and a Masters Degree in Software Engineering. Alexandra is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) (International Association of Privacy Professionals), Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor, and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Alexandra also received a Quantum Computing Fundamentals certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Digital Security and Human Rights certificate from Amnesty International.
Alexandra also leads Women in Cyber for Deloitte in the Cayman Islands and the Caribbean and Bermuda Countries.
