Vanessa Samuels | Bermuda

Vanessa is a Senior Manager in Financial Advisory in Bermuda. She is recognized for her ability to manage complex projects including forensic investigations for personal and corporate insolvency matters, litigation support and dispute resolution. Working closely with law firms and clients, she combines her legal know-how with commercial awareness to conduct results-focused investigations. 

She has considerable experience of cross-border asset-tracing and the recovery of high value antecedent transaction claims against company officers and relevant third parties. More recently, her keen interest in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital assets, has complemented her investigations of high-profile digital asset fraud. By combining forensic accounting and investigation skills with specialist forensic investigations technology, such as Relativity, Brainspace, Altia, Cellebrite and Chainalysis. her team offers clients innovative solutions to investigate fraud, to identify, trace and recover assets and to investigate regulatory non-compliance 

She is a non-practicing member of the Bar of England and Wales, holds an MBA with a project management specialism and cryptocurrency investigation certifications from Chainalysis (CCFC and CRC).
