My most memorable Deloitte experience was my summer internship in 2016. I was struck by the fact that, as an intern, I had a seat at the table; working alongside a senior manager and partner who not only welcomed my ideas but genuinely valued my perspective and trusted my judgment.

That experience reshaped my understanding of what work could be. It gave me the confidence to show up fully as myself and to make my voice heard, regardless of age, gender, or title. I remain deeply grateful to the leaders who created that environment of access, trust, and mentorship.

Deloitte has shaped my career in the best ways. During my time in Risk Advisory (now Consulting) at Deloitte Bahamas, I was exposed to a wide range of industries, service lines, and project types, which gave me a strong, well-rounded understanding of business.

That experience has made me like a chameleon; always ready to adapt, explore, innovate, and stay curious, which has led me to a career pivot as an Innovation Manager at a small business development center. At the same time, the core principles of governance, risk and control have stayed with me. I apply them in every environment, with the goal of bringing structure, clarity, sustainability and integrity to the work I do.

Absolutely. Staying connected feels natural because Deloitte was more than just a workplace to me; it was a culture and shared thinking that connected and continues to connect us, no matter where our careers take us.
