In the face of constant change and uncertainty, organisations are working to optimise human performance—a key theme from last year’s report. Yet in our 2025 Global Human Capital Trends survey of 10,000 leaders from 93 countries, only 6% of respondents say they’re making great progress in establishing human performance.

Our 2025 report aims to help leaders find balance between these tensions in the worker-organisation relationship and start thriving. Explore the 2025 report for key questions organisations must face about their work, workforce, and organisation and culture:

  • How do I ensure the right work is being done, and in an optimal way?
  • How do I access, develop, and motivate the necessary workforce?
  • Do I have the right organisation and culture to enable performance?

Building on the 2025 Global Human Capital Trends report, the Belgian-specific Insights delve deeper into the local results of the trends and highlight the conclusions that derive from that.

According to the Belgian insights, ‘Stagility’ – the ability to strike a balance between agility and stability – tops the executive agenda, whereas for workers the need for more slack and focus time emerges as top organisational challenge. Overall, Belgian companies seem to be outpacing their global peers in tackling human capital challenges but must consider reshaping the role of the manager to continue their progress.
