Stefano leads Belgium’s contribution to Deloitte’s aiStudio, an international collaboration bringing together data scientists from multiple regions to work on solutions a variety of topics relevant to our clients.
Stefano leads Deloitte Belgium’s Risk Analytics team. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics and has over 11 years of experience working on data-intensive projects across sectors, both as an academic (post-)doctoral researcher and in industry. He combines a strong background in physics, mathematics, statistics and machine learning with extensive experience in leading technical teams through complex projects. Over the years, Stefano has developed and maintained a thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques in data science and numerical modelling, and an ability to apply this knowledge to support clients in optimizing their business leveraging data and technology.
