Laurent Van Melckebeke focuses on embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) challenges into sustainability strategies, ambitions, and integrated reporting to create and communicate long term value.
He leads the sustainable performance management (incl. sustainable technologies) and non-financial reporting platforms within the sustainability team.
He is knowledgeable on environmental and social impact measurement as well as extra-financial reporting (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, frameworks and standards for sustainability disclosure, including climate-related reporting), across process, people and technology dimensions.
Besides operational experience Laurent has proven to have excellent project management, change management, as well as people management and leadership skills.
