Justin is a Senior Consultant in the Risk Advisory practice at Deloitte. He is currently focusing on complex privacy issues arising from new and innovative technologies; he participates by being a leading member in several think-tanks and offerings related to cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI) and international data transfers. He also has working experience as a US lawyer, often litigating matters dealing with personal data and individual privacy and use of a new technologies. Justin has a LLM in Computers and Communications Law where he focused on the conflicts between intellectual property privileges for AI applications and privacy/data protection laws of the EU and the United States. He has comprehensive knowledge on privacy and data protection requirements in the United States and European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), and he is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals for both jurisdictions. Additionally, Justin is certified as a lead implementer for the ISO 27001& 27701 Standards.
