Dirk is a Financial Services partner and Insurance sector leader. He started at Deloitte in 1998 and is an accredited auditor for banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions. Dirk is a regular speaker and Deloitte Belgium’s lead partner of the Deloitte EMEA group on IFRS 17. He also teaches the course ‘Reporting for Insurance Companies’ at KU Leuven. Within the insurance industry, Dirk leads audit and assurance, actuarial, back office support, Solvency II and due diligence projects for large and medium-sized insurance companies.
