Dries is a partner at Deloitte Global Trade Advisory Belgium, based in Brussels. He has over 15 years of experience in the area of global trade and worked for various international companies providing global trade strategy, import / export compliance and global trade automation advice.
He is a subject matter specialist in organizing and optimizing supply chain activities as well as operations from a trade compliance perspective, taking into account people, organization, processes, procedures and trade automation. Dries leads the trade automation and transformation efforts. In this respect, he guides companies through their transformation trajectory (including Greenhouse Labs, Target Operating Models, Operate activities, etc.) and helps them select, implement and operate Global Trade Management solutions (e.g. SAP Global Trade Services, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Industry solution) and emerging technologies (e.g. RPA, Analytics, AI, Blockchain).
